By this time, my department had already been disbanded, and I had taken a buyout more than two months earlier. With nothing much to do, I spent my days playing guitar in the park and waiting for my PhD application results.
4. Concert

This was the Pingpan concert in Kunshan, featuring Cyndi Wang, Angela Zhang, and Li Jian. Li Jian’s performance was just on another level. He even helped fix the speakers in this small venue—absolute legend.
